We are pleased to announce that Brian Browne has signed with MCDOUGALLSOUND. Brian is a world-class jazz pianist and Steinway Artist, having performed on CBC and studied with Oscar Peterson. Here is a link to one of Brian's songs to give an idea of his virtuosity.

Brian Browne has long been regarded as one of the leading proponents of jazz piano in Canada. Browne's distinctive, bluesy piano style swings with traces of Art Tatum, Oscar Peterson, Errol Garner and Bill Evans, yet the sound is unmistakably his own.

Brian is currently living and working in Ottawa, having come full circle in a career that took him to Toronto and New York. He now divides his time between performing at festivals, concerts, jazz venues, private functions and teaching.

Brian has several CDs available of both original compositions and covers, including the exquisite Brian Browne Christmas.
